Schedule an interview

If your experience meets the requirements of the position for which you applied, a member of our team will contact you by email within three weeks of the time that you applied to schedule a phone interview.

Receive your offer

If based on your interview we decide to move forward, our team will contact you again to present you with an offer letter for employment including conditions of your employment including salary and start date.

  • How close to home will I work? Am I required to travel for work?

    As a regional contractor, we work within commuting distance of where we live to ensure J.R. Vinagro employees have the ability to return home to their families at the end of every shift. In the rare event that we accept projects outside of our normal working region, we make accommodations to support employees while they’re away from home.

  • I don’t see the position I’m interested in. Can I still apply?

    Yes! You can submit a general application or you can contact our main office to speak with one of our recruiters.

  • What are your typical working hours?

    Although working hours do vary among our operating divisions, our typical business hours are between 7am and 5pm on Monday through Friday. Night-time shifts are most often determined by project. The typical shift among all divisions is 8 hours.

  • Is there an opportunity for working overtime?

    Yes, opportunities to work overtime for increased pay exist within most of our divisions. This is especially true during our peak working season, which takes place during spring and summer months. Availability of overtime is determined by project schedule and supervisor approval.

  • Do you work year-round, or are there seasonal lay-offs?

    J.R. Vinagro is fortunate to operate year-round in order to keep our employees working and earning income. Many of our projects continue throughout winter months, and our divisions that are weather dependent stay operational during slower months by performing winter maintenance and repairs.
